“Mike Howard: Pivotal Moments in Alabama History”, an exhibition filled with canvases stretched from ceiling to floor displaying three events that have formed a significant part of our Alabama story. With the large scale canvas scenes and signature dripping paint marks, Howard pulls the viewers in to experience the Civil Rights march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, sitting with Rosa Parks on a Montgomery city bus, and the assassination scene of Alabama Attorney General Albert Patterson in Phenix City.
