  • A Day in the Life of a 1930s School Child

Students begin with an introductory video explaining the difference between primary and secondary sources. They then closely examine a photograph of a school at Skyline Farms. Next, they make digital annotations on the image in Google Drawings, and they answer the questions about the image. After that, students write a diary entry from the viewpoint of one of the students in the photograph using a diary template in Google Drawings. Finally, students reflect on their learning by voting on the part of the hyperdoc to the degree to which they met the learning target.
